Engineers Estimate: $23,000,000.00
DBE Goal: 22% WBE Goal 6.9%
Time for Completion 250 Working Days and Liquidated Damages $13,200.00 per calendar day

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Water Pollution Control Program, Construction area signs, trucking, water trucks, hot mix asphalt and aggregate base subgrade separation fabric, material supplier, traffic control, cold plane asphalt concrete pavement, pavement fabric, minor concrete including color conditioned median island, sidewalk, curb & gutter, accessible ramp type, detectable warning surface, driveway, gutter connection, median curb type A & B, and retaining curb adjust roadway utilities including manhole frames and grates, water valves, and PG&E gas valve boxes, thermoplastic pavement markings, delineation and markers, remove traffic striping, pavement markings and pavement markers, remove existing trees, reset survey monuments, demo existing concrete mow strip, curb & gutter, remove ad salvage existing roadway signs, remove existing guardrail, hydroseed, asphalt concrete dike, power wash and paint existing soundwall, remove and relocate existing fire hydrants, storm drain RCP pipe suppliers, precast concrete inlets, storm drain manholes, modify and install signal and lighting systems, landscape soil preparation, irrigation and planting, plant establishment period, bypass pumping material suppliers, sewer pipe abandonment, VCP and SDR pipe suppliers, 60, 72, 84 inch precast sewer manholes.

Copies of the contract documents are available from the City of Vacaville at no charge by logging on to https://www.vacavilleplans.com/ and are available for viewing at local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Global Network. Argonaut Constructors encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Argonaut Constructors (Argonaut) may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: Argonaut may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. Argonaut may pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. Argonaut Constructors is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.
Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participitation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void. Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.
Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming Argonaut Constructors as additional insured; including completed operations coverage;; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
