Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DVBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Drainage Systems Supplier, Storm Water Systems Supplier, Construction Staking, Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control System, Plane Asphalt Concrete, Remove Concrete, Remove Bridge Item, Clearing & Grubbing, Highway Planting, Soil Amendments, Hydroseeding, Erosion Control, Irrigation System, Temporary Erosion Control, Landscape Care and Maintenance Services, Concrete Pumping, Place Asphalt Concrete Dike & Misc, Furnish & Drive Piling, Cast-In-Drilled-Hole Concrete Piling, Prestressing Concrete Cast-In-Place, Furnish Precast Concrete Member, Erect Precast Concrete Member, Joint Seal – Water Stop, Reinforcing Steel, Concrete Curb & Sidewalk- Misc, Misc Bridge Metal, Fencing, Metal Beam Guard Railing, Metal Railing (Include Handrailing, Cable Railing, Bicycle Railing), "Concrete Barrier (Permanent), (All Concrete Barrier Types)", Crash Cushion, Thermoplastic Traffic Striping & Marking, Remove Pavement Marking & Traffic Stripes, Maintaining Existing Traffic Mgmt System Elements During Construction, Signal & Lighting (Furnishing, Installing, Modifying or Removing ), Lighting (Installation of Street Lights), Pavement Profiling, SWPPP Planning, Super 10 Dump Truck, Water Truck, End Dump Truck, Street Sweeping Truck Hazardous Waste Trucking, Trucker Broker
The DVBE Contract goal is 3% percent. The estimated cost of the project is $26,000,000.00. Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
