General Work Description: project consists of major rail, roadway, utility, drainage, electrical, and civil infrastructure improvements at the Port of Long Beach, including new rail facilities, roadway realignment, grading and earthwork, utility relocations, microtunneling, drainage systems, traffic control, paving, environmental compliance measures, and associated site development work required to support expanded port rail operations and freight mobility.
Granite is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers, including certified SBE firms, for all bid items, including but not limited to the following trades and work classifications:
HMA, Pavement Marking, Striping, Electrical, Drainage, Traffic Control, Sweeping, Trucking, Water Trucks, Fencing, Construction Area Signs, Landscaping, Hazardous Waste, Rail, Waterline, Sanitary Sewer, Tunneling

Requirements: Granite is signatory to the Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. Subcontractors must possess a valid contractor's license, insurance, workers' compensation coverage, and a current DIR registration. Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the subcontract amount may be required. Granite may assist with bond premiums up to 1%.
