Scope of Services: Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to: traffic control, demolition of existing AC pavement, PCC curbs, gutters, and ADA ramps, construction staking, grading, compaction, new concrete curb & gutter, ADA concrete ramps, storm drain system construction (drainage inlets, manholes, yard drains, storm drain laterals, storm drain main), electrical conduit, electrical pull boxes, standard City of South Lake Tahoe streetlights, AC paving, pavement striping, signage, landscaping, irrigation, installing revegetation and/or sod on areas disturbed by construction activity, Best Management Practices, compliance with regulatory permits, establishing vegetation on areas disturbed by construction activity, and all other work as described in the Contract Documents
Herback General Engineering is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Traffic Control, Signage, BMP Materials, Striping, Re-Vegetation, Landscaping & irrigation, Tree Removal & Concrete.
Requirements: Herback General Engineering is an equal opportunity employer. Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. All quotes will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Inquire about possible training opportunities and employment of lower income persons. We will require that all participating companies possess a current contractor’s license, carry Workers Compensation & Liability Insurance and be bonded. For any bid proposal submitted on or after March 1, 2015 and any contract for public work entered into on or after April 1, 2015, the following registration requirements apply: Every Subcontractor is required to be registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 of the Public Contract Code. No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal pursuant to Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. No bid shall be accepted nor any subcontract entered into without proof of the Subcontractors current registration to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. PLEASE PROVIDE DIR # WITH QUOTE See specifications for exact insurance requirements and verbiage. We will assist with obtaining insurance, bonds or lines of credit, equipment, supplies or materials necessary to participate in this project. If 3rd tier Subcontractors are being used, they must be noted on the quote and only perform no more than 0.05% of the scope of work being quoted.
