Qualified Precipitation Event Sampling and Testing for pH and Turbidity: For furnishing transportation, labor, materials, and equipment to sample, test, and provide written results during rainy days. A minimum of 3 samples shall be taken at each discharge location during each precipitation event and test for pH and turbidity in conformance with Construction General Permit, including additions to or deductions from the approximate quantity stipulated.
Photographic Documentation: For furnishing transportation, labor, materials, and equipment to furnish, install, and operate system for panoramic photographic documentation.
Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP): For furnishing transportation, labor, materials, and equipment to prepare and implement a stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) and construction site management.
Excavate, Stockpile, and Dispose of Aerially Deposited Lead (ADL)/Non-RCRA Waste Soil: For furnishing transportation, labor, materials, and equipment to excavate, transport to CIS stockpile site, stockpile, characterize, haul away, and dispose of aerially deposited lead/non-Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) waste soil at a licensed and Class I lined landfill acceptable to Department, including additions to or deductions from the approximate stipulated quantity.
Contractor-Furnished Import Fill Soil: For furnishing transportation, labor, materials, and equipment to test, characterize, furnish, place, grade, and compact in place Contractor-furnished fill soil, including additions to or deductions from the approximate quantity stipulated.

Subgrade Stabilization: For furnishing transportation, labor, materials, and equipment to excavate, remove, and dispose of unsuitable subgrade and to furnish, place, and compact subgrade stabilization material, 1-inch nominal gradation, and place geotextile, including additions to or deductions from the approximate quantity stipulated.
Unforeseen Utility and Substructure Modifications, Additions, and Removals: Bidder shall include in the bid the listed allowance for unforeseen utility and substructure modifications, additions, and removals as directed by Engineer.
Unforeseen Contaminated and Hazardous Soil and Groundwater: Bidder shall include in the bid the listed allowance to remove and dispose of contaminated and hazardous soil and groundwater generated as directed by Engineer.
Internet-Based Project Management: Bidder shall include in the bid the listed allowance to provide internet-based project management as directed by Engineer.
Premium Time for Schedule Acceleration/Overtime: Bidder shall include in the bid the listed allowance to account for labor premium time pay differential for schedule acceleration or overtime as directed by Engineer.
Perform Work Associated with Regulatory Agency Changes and Additional Requirements: Bidder shall include in the bid the listed allowance to perform Work as required by agencies due to regulatory changes and additional requirements as directed by Engineer.
Partnering Facility: Bidder shall include in the bid the listed allowance to provide partnering facility as directed by Engineer.
Construction Zone Enhanced Enforcement Program (COZEEP): Bidder shall include in the bid the listed allowance to account for California Highway Patrol units as required for handling traffic during construction as directed by Engineer.
Design Modifications as Directed by Engineer: Bidder shall include in the bid the listed allowance to account for design modifications as directed by Engineer.
Requirements: Griffith Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. 100% performance and payment bonds required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Griffith’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator.
