Scope of Services: The Work to be done consists primarily of furnishing and installing new traffic signs, striping, traffic signal and communications equipment including, but not limited to, auxiliary control equipment, traffic signal and lighting standards, luminaires, mast arm signs, electrical service cabinets, vehicle and pedestrian indications, pedestrian push buttons fiber optic cables, at selected intersections on Sant Fe Avenue and Anaheim Street in the City of Long Beach.

Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to: 55085 - Traffic Signal Poles, Standards, and Brackets, 55088 - Traffic Signals and Equipment, Electric Systems, 96882 -Traffic Signal Installation, 96883 - Traffic Signal Maintenance and Repair & 96884 - Traffic Control Services (To Include Placement and Removal of Control Devices).

Comet Electric, Inc is willing to break items of work into smaller increments to assist SBE/VSBE/LSBE Contractors and Suppliers in obtaining work on this project. 100% Performance and Payment bonds required. Subcontractor’s must possess a current contractor’s license.

Requirements: No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
