General Work Description: The work to be done includes performing maintenance dredging at the 2025 Vallejo Ferry Terminal Dredging Project. The Vallejo Ferry Terminal scope of work includes but is not necessarily limited to the following elements: Disconnection, reconnection, and testing of various utilities, Disconnecting the permanent gangway from the permanent float, lifting the permanent gangway and supporting the permanent gangway with a contractor-furnished temporary landing beam on the two supporting piles in the ferry basin, Disconnecting and removing the existing permanent ferry loading float, Transportation of the permanent ferry loading float to Mare Island Berth 7 during the duration of dredging activities, Underwater Dive Inspection, and replacement, as required, of the anodes on the permanent loading float, Disconnection and reconnection of the permanent float mooring chains, Reinstallation of permanent gangway and float system, Hydrographic surveys, Restoration of all Contractor-disconnected utilities
The Dutra Group is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE and SBE firms for bid items, including but not limited to:
- Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) Services (NAICS) 541370
- Environmental Consulting Services (NAICS) 541620
NOTE: Dutra Group is willing to break items of work into smaller increments to assist DBE and SBE Contractors and Suppliers in obtaining work on this project. 100% Performance and Payment bonds required. Subcontractor’s must possess a current contractor’s license. Please contact us for details.
