General work description: The District is pursuing the Project to complete permanent repairs to the access road and re-establish permanent electrical connection to the Rice Canyon Reservoir. The access road and electrical conduit sustained damage from the 2018 Holy Fire, and the intensified rainfall and flooding events that followed. Three (3) concrete low water crossings located within Rice Canyon have failed and the access road is no longer accessible by vehicles , and EVMWD staff is only able to access the reservoir site on foot. The Project consists of the following components: Clear vegetation, regrade and compact the access road; Replace the existing electrical conduit from Dale Court to the Reservoir; and Replace and expand three existing concrete low water crossings.
Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to:
Temporary Erosion Control, Storm Water Pollution Control Plan, Pre/Post-Construction Videotapes And Photographs, Construction Survey Staking, Removal Of Existing Concrete Crossings, Protecting Existing Underground Utilities, Cutting, Clearing, And Grubbing, Excavation Support Systems/Earthwork, Trenching Backfilling, Cast-In-Place Sitework Concrete, Access Gate And Barbed Wire Fencing, Electrical Work.
