Construction area signs, traffic control, flagging, trucking, portable changeable message signs, aggregate base(shoulder backing)and asphalt suppliers, class II aggregate base, precast concrete( energy dissipation structure), inline terminal system, transition railing, traffic stripe, water pollution control program, cold plane asphalt, hazardous materials safety plan, 30 inch drilled hole, steel soldier pile (HP X 89), concrete pile cap, concrete wall panel, precast concrete lagging, tie back/Ground anchors, 60 inch reinforced concrete pipe, pipe rehabilitation and point repairs, concrete collar, rock slope protection materials, biaxial geogrid, concrete barrier (modified type 842), pavement fabric, hot mix asphalt dike (Type D), temporary railing (Type K), site restoration, hydroseeding and planting.
Plans: Plans, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Santa Rosa. Copies of the contract documents are available from the County of Marin by e-mailing them at bids@marincounty.org or local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Scan as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services. Argonaut Constructors encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Argonaut Constructors (Argonaut) may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: Argonaut may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. Argonaut may pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. Argonaut Constructors is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.
Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participitation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void. Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.
