General work description: This project will finish work left uncompleted by the Westside Unit 3 STM project. New LED luminaires, wiring inside the poles, fuses and remote monitoring units have already been installed. This project will install new conduit, pullboxes and new system wiring to serve the 170 street lights temporarily converted to low voltage by the default project, and 5 additional LED retrofit kits. A portion of the conduit installation will be on hilly streets where there is no sidewalk. . Work will be in the areas of Eagle Rock and Hollywood Hills, in proximity to 1) streets south of Yosemite Dr and Townsend Ave, and 2) Beachwood Dr between Belden Dr and Franklin Ave, and streets east and west of Beachwood Dr and Scenic Ave.

Comet Electric, Inc is willing to break items of work into smaller increments to assist MBE,WBE,SBE,EBE,DVBE,OBE,DBE,SLB,LBE Contractors and Suppliers in obtaining work on this project. 100% Performance and Payment bonds required. Subcontractor’s must possess a current contractor’s license.
Requirements: No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
