General work description: The roadwork to be done consists of, in general, traffic control, clearing & grubbing, removing, adjusting or reconstructing existing facilities, reconstructing and widening pavement, installing new retaining wall, installing drainage, placing thermoplastic stripes and pavement markings and infill paving.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
