Project Name: St. Clair County Metrolink Extension Shiloh-Scott to MidAmerica St. Louis Airport Systems
Agency: St. Clair County Transit District

DBE Goal: 15%

The project consists of Trackwork, Traction Power, and Signals & Communications with Work consisting of ballast and concrete ties; continuously welded rail; special trackwork; insulated joints, switches, switch heaters, and rail lubricators; traction power substations, substation foundations, grounding mats, grounding rods, and fencing; overhead catenary system and wires, bracket arms, and catenary poles; signal houses and interlocking houses; cable, conduits, troughs, junction boxes, and ductbanks; wayside signals and signals signage; closed circuit televisions, public address systems, passenger assist telephones, SCADA system; substation, signal house, and interlocking driveway paving; and any additional work necessary to complete the project.

All Bid Items are open for bid, including items of work normally performed by RailWorks Track Services, LLC. Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. RailWorks Track Services, LLC will work with interested DBEs to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.

RailWorks Track Services, LLC will assist interested DBEs in obtaining necessary materials, or related assistance or services. In addition, we will assist interested DBEs in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, or insurance, and any technical assistance or information related to the plans, specification and requirements for the work.
