The Project consists of: This Project is part of Peralta Community College’s goal to upgrade its facilities to foster a better environment for its students by addressing existing damages and safety concerns at the Laney College Student Center Improvements Project. The building will remain closed during construction. The various renovations shall include replacement of existing flooring, ceiling tiles, drinking fountains, door hardware, lighting, exit signage, restroom plumbing fixtures, restroom tiles, restroom stalls, AHUs, reheat coils, as well as new paint, installation of new owner furnished TVs, and Fire Alarm upgrades.
Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including but not limited to: Concrete, Metal Fabrications, Finish Carpentry, Thermal And Moisture Protection, Doors And Windows, Acoustical Tile Ceilings, Ceramic Tile Floor And Wall Finish, Painting, Toilet Accessories, Solid Surface Toilet Compartments, Gypsum Board , Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Excavation And Fill. Please review plans & specs for complete list of bid items
We are signatory to both the Carpenters Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Laborers Collective Bargaining Agreement. Certification of insurance for General Liability and Workers’ Compensation are required. A Waiver of Subrogation will also be required with all Subcontract Agreements. Subcontractors’ faithful performance and payment bonds in the amount of the subcontract price will be required. Reasonable market rate bond premium will be reimbursed by Thompson Builders Corporation.
