Engineers Estimate: $10,539,263.00

DBE Goal: 8%

Time for Completion 325 Working Days and Liquidated Damages $5,000.00 per calendar day

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following:
SWPPP, storm water sampling and analysis, temporary water pollution control measures, progress schedule, construction area signs, traffic control, construction survey, striping removal and striping and pavement markings installation, remove and replace unsuitable material miscellaneous concrete, concrete demolition, remove lighting standard, 6”, 8” and 16” bore and jack casing pipe, precast manholes, precast concrete drainage structures, RCP pipe suppliers, tree and stump removal, remove tree grates, conform and edge grinds, cold plane asphalt concrete, class II aggregate base suppliers, asphalt suppliers, adjust existing roadway utilities, minor concrete including sidewalk, driveway, curb & gutter, vertical curb, curb ramps, detectable warning services, median paving, bioretention curb & gutter and vertical curb, irrigation system, street trees, decomposed granite tree well, brick band, bench, trash receptable, bike rack, planter rail, survey monuments, flag pole sleeve, remove roadside signs and sign panels, thermoplastic crosswalk and pavement markings, pavement markers, modify signal, street lighting system, excavate, trench, backfill and compact joint trench, trucking, asphalt oil tanker trucks, water trucking.

Copies of the contract documents are available from the City of Ukiah at www.cityofukiah.com/purchasing and are available for viewing at local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Global Network. Argonaut Constructors encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Argonaut Constructors (Argonaut) may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: Argonaut may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108.  Argonaut may pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. Argonaut Constructors is a UNION CONTRACTOR.  Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.

Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participitation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.  Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.
Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming Argonaut Constructors as additional insured; including completed operations coverage;; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
