Project: Palo Seco Pumping Plant and Madrone Regulator Replacement, Almond Pumping Plant Flowmeter Replacement, and Madrone Reservoir Demolition
The Engineer's estimate is $9,000,000 and $11,000,000.

Work includes the following: 1. Demolition of the existing Madrone and Palo Seco Pumping Plant building including all mechanical and electrical equipment and associated yard piping; construction of an above ground reinforced concrete pumping plant approximately 45 ft. x 22 ft. x 18 ft. with related piping; furnish and install two (2) 250HP variable frequency vertical turbine pumps and motors, furnish and install HVAC, bridge crane, construction of electrical and site improvements, and performing related required work as shown on the drawings and specified; located on District property on 3549 Robinson Dr. Oakland, in Alameda County, California; 2. Furnish and install the temporary Joaquin Miller Reservoir Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) and demolition of the existing Madrone and Palo Seco PP/Joaquin Miller Reservoir RTU located in the Palo Seco PP building, and performing all related work as specified on 3549 Robinson Dr. Oakland, in Alameda County, California; 3. Furnish and install approximately 30 feet of 6" ML&CS pipe 10 feet of 8" ML&CS pipe, and 685 feet of 12" ML&CS pipe, Install 320 feet. of 8" temporary HDPE piping, and performing related required work located in District property on 3549 Robinson Dr. and within the public right of way Robinson Drive in Alameda County, California; 4. Demolition of the existing Madrone Reservoir including the removal of the 2.7 MG concrete wirestressed tank, valve pit, and related piping; site restoration and performing related required work located near Balmoral Dr. and Hillcrest Ct. Oakland in Alameda County, California; 5. Furnish and install 5 feet of 6" ML& CS pipe, and install the district-furnished 6" magnetic flowmeter and insulation gaskets at the Madrone Regulator No 2, located near Balmoral Dr. and Hillcrest Ct. Oakland in Alameda County, California;6. Furnish and install approximately 5 feet of 32" ML&CS pipe, and 32" magnetic flowmeter at the Almond Pumping Plant at 17241 President Drive Castro Valley, in Alameda County, California.

We are signatory to both the Carpenters Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Laborers Collective Bargaining Agreement.  Certification of insurance for General Liability and Workers’ Compensation are required.  A Waiver of Subrogation will also be required with all Subcontract Agreements. Subcontractors’ faithful performance and payment bonds in the amount of the subcontract price will be required.  Reasonable market rate bond premium will be reimbursed by Thompson Builders Corporation.

Our estimating department is available for assistance with bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies and/or materials.
