 The Work includes, but is not limited to: The scope of work for the Base Lump Sum Bid Schedule comprises the remodel and expansion. The scope of work shall include, but no limited to, demolition, asbestos remediation, structural foundations, structural retrofit and framing, utility equipment yard enclosure, electrical service transformer, wet and dry utilities, fire line, sprinkler and alarm system, vehicle emission exhaust system, sand/oil separator, site furnishings, site furniture, lighting fixtures, doors and windows,  miscellaneous concrete work, site drainage, signing and striping and all appurtenant work. The scope of work for the Additive No. 1 Lump Sum Bid Schedule comprises the construction of a trash and fuel trailer enclosure. The scope of work shall include removal and construction of miscellaneous concrete, block walls, steel posts, metal, gates, clean outs, lighting fixture, gravel and all appurtenant work. The scope of work for the Additive No. 2 Lump Sum Bid Schedule comprises the installation of landscape and lighting. The scope of work shall include the removal, relocation and installation of trees; various shrubs; angular rock cobble and decorative rock mulch; varying size boulders; block benches; site lighting; irrigation equipment and all appurtenant work. The scope of work for the Additive No. 3 Lump Sum Bid Schedule comprises the installation of metal cladding of beams. The scope of work shall include the installation of cladding (metal and fibertite), flashing, spacer, hardware and all appurtenant work. The scope of work for the Additive No. 4 Lump Sum Bid Schedule comprises the installation of IT, data and communication systems. The scope of work shall include the removal and installation of seismic warning system; station alerting system complete; cctv systems infrastructure; access control panel and card readers; radio systems (VHF and 800 Mhz); cabinets and rack systems; wireless hub and access points; data, telephone and television outlets; antenna; remotes; conduit and cables; connectors; patch panels and cords; wall plates; ground busbars; and all appurtenant work.

USS Cal Builders requires 100% Performance & Payment Bonds. If requested, and as USS Cal Builders way of assisting subs in obtaining bonds, lines of credit and insurance in the preparation of this project, we can initiate introduction to agents known to us. USS Cal can also assist in obtaining equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance or services in the preparation of this project. USS Cal is relying on the price submitted in a subcontractor's proposal as an all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans, specifications and addenda regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. USS Cal's listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor's conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor's bid proposal. The subcontractor agrees that its bid will remain valid for the same period of time that the prime contractor's bid must remain valid with the owner, as specified in the project's specifications.

Each listed subcontractor must execute USS Cal's standard subcontract agreement if USS Cal is awarded the project; the standard subcontract is available for review on USS Cal's website (www.usscalbuilders.com ) and at USS Cal's office. At the discretion of USS Cal, any listed subcontractor that withdraws its bid after USS Cal submits its bid to the owner will be responsible for the difference in price for such scope of work charged by the replacement subcontractor.

This is a prevailing wage project. If this project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement or Project Stabilization Agreement, you will be required to honor the terms of such agreement. USS Cal Builders, Inc. is signatory to the Carpenter's Union. Any subcontractor performing carpentry work must be signatory to the Carpenter's Union.
