Ames Construction, Inc. is seeking certified and qualified CBE subcontractors and suppliers to meet the 25% CBE Requirements for the following:

PROJECT: WRDM000056: San Gabriel Reservoir Post-Fire Emergency Restoration Project Part 2

Community business enterprise (CBE) Subs/Suppliers required include but are not limited to: SWPPP, demo, CMB, AC paving, PCC paving,  structural concrete, concrete channel, minor structures,  reinforcing steel, pipe supply, pipe – CMP, erosion control, lead compliance, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste, sluiceway tunnel/tower inspection & repair, instrumentation, misc metal/steel, clear & grub, water trucks/dust control plan, street sweeper, fencing, excavation/disposal/placement of sediment, construction supply and trucking,    Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to breakdown items into economical feasible packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum CBE participation.

Los Angeles Public works has set a 25% CBE goal for this project. A CBE is defined as Minority/Women/Disadvantaged/ Disabled Veteran/ Lesbian/ Gay / Bisexual/ Transgender / Queer and Questioning owned  Business Enterprise (M/W/D/DVBE/LGBTQQ). If your company falls into any of these classifications and you want to become a certified CBE call 323-881-3964 or send an emailed request to OSB@dcva.lacounty.gov .

Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values.  Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item. Please call to discuss how Ames Construction can assist you in your bonding, credit and/or insurance needs. Also, let us know if you need assistance in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance or services for this project. Please contact us for more information. Ames’ Subcontract terms and conditions will apply to any contracts resulting from this request. The Subcontractor, by submission of its bid, agrees to the “Terms and Conditions” including all Exhibits and Attachments of Ames Subcontract Agreement.
