Hawthorne Blvd Mobility Improvement Project-Phase II
Scope of work: The work consists of traffic signal upgrades, trenching and installing conduits, construction of curb and gutter, sidewalks, and ADA ramps, striping and adjustment of utilities and all other work necessruy to complete the improvements in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.

Plan A87 A, including reconstruction of AC pavement, trench drain, catch basin, PCC curb and utility box adjustment in the private property area, Traffic Signal construction at the intersection of Hawthorne Blvd and Imperial Hwy, including labor, potholing, and materials complete per Plans and Specifications, New Traffic Signal construction at the intersection of Hawthorne Blvd and 116th St 118th and 119th St St., including labor, potholing, and materials complete per Plans and Specifications, Traffic Control, Traffic Signal Loop Detectors Type "E", Traffic Signal Bicycle Loop Detectors Type "D", Furnish and install 3" PVC conduit and No. 6 pull box in addition to what is called for in each TS plan lump sum item
Comet Electric, Inc is willing to break items of work into smaller increments to assist DBE Contractors and Suppliers in obtaining work on this project. 100% Performance and Payment bonds required. Subcontractor’s must possess a current contractor’s license.
Requirements: No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
