is seeking DBE / SBE Qualified Sub-Contractors on the following Project

Project Owner: Caltrans Contract # 04-2Q7604

Bid Date & Time: February 22, 2024 @ 2:00 PM

Alameda county in Fremont on route 680 at off-ramp to Scott creek road and on route 238 at Mission Ridge court

General work description: Installation of New Curb Ramps and Sidewalk to Meet Current Ada Standards

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Adjust Roadway Utility Items; Clearing & Grubbing; Temporary Erosion Control; Mill/Grind Asphalt Concrete; Roadside Sign; Storm Drain Underground; Concrete Curb & Sidewalk; Saw Cutting; Striping & Signage; Signal & Lighting; Land Surveyor; C8852 SWPPP Planning; Super 10 Dump Truck; Landscaping Contractor

The DBE Contract goal is 22 percent.

The estimated cost of the project is $2,160,000

Requirements: Firms must possess & provide current contractor’s license number & DIR Registration number on the quote.  No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting.
